Adjusting header size & menu location

    I’m very new to WP, and I’m trying to get my feet wet. My current issue is attempting to adjust the header size. Basically, I would like to decrease its height, and I would like to relocate the menu to the right of my logo.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to continue my education and become somewhat proficient at utilizing WP.
