    I am not sure what version I am using… I do have notification I should upgrade to 3.9 which I suppose I need to do.
    My question is… I have a handful of friends who have subscribed to my blog and they would get an email each time I updated or added a post to the blog. When I did my most recent post this week, none of my subscribers received an email notification that a new post was added. To my knowledge, we didn’t do anything or make any changes.
    any advise or someone to call would be helpful.
    I am completely new to this so it’s difficult to figure out the problem.

    Try installing the Jetpack plugin. It has a module that can do this.

    I installed the jetpack plugin and then ‘activated’ the one that said subscribers.. I’m still not quite sure what the problem is which is not allowing the subscribers to see new posts.
