    Hi There,

    I am getting below error message when click on appearence->menu.

    PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in D:\Inetpub\vhosts\fiskaz.com\httpdocs\wp-admin\includes\nav-menu.php on line 71

    I was getting same error on line 591 but i resloved with below forums posted in wordpress
    [resolved] wp-includes/nav.php – Trying to get property of non-object from wp

    but i am getting problem at line 71 in wp-admin\includes\nav-menu.php

    Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

    I am using 3.8.1 version i never get any error from last 2 month it came today.

    do you have any solution because i dont want to move right now with 3.8.

    You need to upgrade WordPress. Right now, it’s possible that your site has been hacked.

    If i will update version will it effect my current website because i am worried about my work which i have done?

    Hi Esmi

    Resolved i made changes in define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true); to define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);. It just came in my mind that i have change the values and somewhere i read that it should always be false its just for developers to check php errors.
