downgrade now wordpress fatal error

    Hi,

    I get this message after trying to downgrade to 3.8.3. I overwrote everything except the content folder. The mentioned file is there on the server though.

    Warning: require_once(/home/klexpatmalaysia/public_html/gd-config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/klexpatmalaysia/public_html/wp-config.php on line 83

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/klexpatmalaysia/public_html/gd-config.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/klexpatmalaysia/public_html/wp-config.php on line 83

    So I put my 3.9 version back up back but that now gets a different error.
    “Error establishing a database connection”
    I want to mentioned to that is moved hosting recently from Godaddy wordpre hosting to regular hosting.

    The goal is get my backup from before switching hosting working under 3.8.3.
