    When I start the membership plugin up it automatically assumes that my subscribers are members – which they aren’t!

    How can I make the plugin understand that there is a difference between present subscriptions and new memberships?

    Hi @rigpa1,

    Greetings and thanks for posting! 🙂

    Membership wouldn’t normally add subscriptions or access levels to users automatically. It’s possible you’ve got a default subscription configured at Membership > Options. There’s a “Use subscription” option there which you can use to set a default subscription for users.

    Do you have that option set?
