• Ever since upgrading to 3.9, I keep getting a stay on this page or leave confirm navigation pop up whenever I try to save my changes in my posts. I have 26 plugins installed and I’m hosted by GoDaddy. How do I fix this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Try disabling all the plugins and check which plugin is causing the issue by enabling them one after the other. If none of the plugins are a problem, then its most likely that your theme is causing an issue, try the default 2014 theme for a while and see if you still get the error. It is very unlikely that you will encounter this error in the default theme.
