Custom CSS not responding

    So i’ve got a child theme activated and am using a style sheet i created in it for all my custom CSS. Everything responds properly except for one chunk. But, it does work if i insert into the theme’s “Custom CSS” input box on its “Styling Page” built into the theme’s backend.

    Why is this? Is there a way to fix it because i need to edit the chunk when displaying on mobile?

    First, verify you can definitely see the CSS chunk using your browser’s web inspector.

    One possibility is that the theme’s styling page CSS is loaded in a different order compared to the child theme CSS and some CSS from the theme (or somewhere) is overriding the chunk you’re working on when you put it in the child theme.

    It’s hard to say for sure without seeing the site though. Can you provide a link to the site and describe the CSS?

    Thanks for the reply. I ended up overriding it for mobile by adding “!important” to the CSS i wanted adjusted. Works like a charm …everytime.
