I-transform. Create and install slider in header.

I-transform theme. Need basic info on creating and installing the slider in the header. What do I enter into the fields: Slide n title, Slide n Link Text, Slide n Link URL. Next after I do all that and insert the pictures, how do I get the slider to display.
The header doesn’t seem to be wide enough (about 1 1/2″ high). Will it expand to fit the slider?
