I am currently trying to migrate my client’s site from off on my staging area (found @ http://magicstaircase.com/pullpin/ ) to their desired hosting space and url. I have followed the documentation (found @ http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress ) but continue to remain stuck. More specifically, all I get after completing the migration, is a blank white screen…no error messages or any actionable feedback (found @ http://pullpinnovation.com/cms/ ).

I have gone to great lengths to ensure that all of the steps found within the codex were followed carefully. At one point I even hopped on the phone and stumped the tech-support peeps over at my client’s url registry/hosting provider (the big one). In addition to going over the outlined procedures, I created a fresh installation in a sub-directory, which worked fine. It wasn’t until I dumped the clean DB and uploaded the content from the migrating site that I ran into the WhiteOut issue that I’m encountering. All references, names, and credentials were identical between the outbound and receipient databases. Additionally, the info in the wp-config file was as accurate as could be, in my estimation.

Does anybody have any idea as to what might be going wrong here? It seems to me that there’s a conflict coming from the old DB.

Your insight would be greatly appreciated,
