It looks like it’s not working on notebook either :p
Can you provide a link showing the page where you have set this up? Did you put both the search and basic link library display shortcodes on your page?
I have this codes on my page:
[link-library-search settings=1]
[link-library-cats settings=1]
[link-library settings=1]
http://www.veganfolks.com/resources
I went to this page and was able to search from my desktop computer. When you talk about a notebook not working, are you referring to a laptop?
Yannick, after I changed back to show every link I have, and not hide them, I can also search. The problem happens if I hide the links or use AJAX when clicking on the categories..
I will do more testing in AJAX mode. I hope to have a solution by the end of tomorrow. Sorry for the trouble. At least you have a workaround for now.
Thanks Yannick π
I also have another question. Not sure if I couldn’t figure it out or if it’s not possible, but I would like to be able to put a “return” button on the page after they use the Search function or after they click on a Category, so they dont have to scroll back or hit the return button on the browser.
The latest version of Link Library resolves the problem you have seen with search results not appearing when you have hide category links active in AJAX mode.
For your second question, I need to think about it a bit since the search query can come from another page than the current page. Can you create a new thread for this new question and close if resolved? Thanks.
I can make the search work if I leave at least one category showing. If I hide all, search doesn’t work. The way I left on my page make search work.
Did you upgrade to 5.8.2.3? I just published a fix to be able to hide all and still get search results correctly.
Just upgraded the plugin. It’s working now thanks!
