Emergency PassWord Reset not working

i have forgot the password for my windows live account and tried to reset it by giving the recovery mail address and found that i hav given wrong spelling for my mail. instead of .gmail i have given it .gail and so i couldnt recover my password any one plss help and thanks in advance

I don’t understand much of the codex page either, I’m trying the Emergency method. I got as far as creating the emergency.php file, but I’m getting a 404 when I type in the url in the next step. Am I doing the steps incorrectly? Am I missing something?
