Help! I manage a self-hosted site. We showcase our blog posts on the home page, but I also wanted to add a tab/page in the menu titled “Latest News” to show all our blog posts. I added it but an Error 404 is appearing. I have read a million forums, tried deactivating then reactivating all plugins, tested deleting everything except for the standard .htaccess settings, yet still nothing has changed.

    See error here: http://www.newearthrecords.com/category/news-updates/

  • Hi tessasomnuk,

Have you tried visiting Settings > Permalinks to flush your permalinks? Also, how many (if any) posts are there assigned to that news-updates category?

    Hi Drew,

What do you mean by “flush”? I went to Permalinks and re-saved them but nothing changed. I have 16 blog posts – not sure where they are assigned to. I thought perhaps the link was incorrect but I have no idea how to check that…
