I’m getting a warning when I try to update my home page and I’m not sure how to decipher it. I don’t get it on any other page. It seems it started when I installed and activated the “Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin”. Strange part is that even when I deactivate it I still get the warning. Also, the page does update and any changes are visible on the site.

Despite everything still functioning properly, I have concerns that it could lead to future problems. Can anyone shed some light on what this warning means and how I can fix it.

Here is a Screenshot of the warning.

  • Problem in your quick page post redirect plugin. Using your ftp credentials or cpanel rename the plugin folder to some one and check it again if it all works fine.

    Let me know 🙂

    Vicky,

I’m not quite sure what you mean. Rename the plugin folder to “some one”?

    Thanks,

FTP into your site (or whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the “Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin” inside wp-content/plugins.

Do you have caching setup for your site? That might be what’s stopping you from seeing the update after deactivating the plugin.

Nevermind, try esmi’s instructions first! I didn’t see her reply before posting mine.

Thanks everyone for the help! I updated a few plugins and it seems to be working properly.
