Error with slugs & permalinks

    Whenever I create a new campaign it shows the slug for this post type as being “campaigns”, but clicking on the “View Campaign” button leads to a 404 not found error – because apparently it’s creating the new entry with “downloads” as the post type slug.

    It’s a bit weird because this doesn’t seem to be happening on my local server… All the problems I’m running into are on the live site. I’m not sure what’s different. I’ve tried resetting the permalinks, and that didn’t seem to help. Any other suggestions would be very much appreciated!

    did you re-save the permalinks a few times? did you try resetting your .htaccess file?

    For some reason changing the permalinks back and forth a few times eventually did the trick. I had to change them to something else, then back, twice. :/
