    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    My assumption here is that some other script is also adding a sorting function to tables (with its own icons). Are you maybe using other table plugins on the site?
    Can you maybe post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    You are right. I forgot to disable the wpDatatables plugin that was the cause of this. Thanks for you prompt and helpful reply.
