The text on the sidebar of the index.php file are appearing way too large for some reason…Can anyone suggest a reaason why this has happened?

I have changed nothing except add a few posts to a new blog site, but dont know about this.

Would I just be able to go into the index file, and adjust the text size, then upload the file again?

It seems odd as it doesnt appear on any other pages, just the index.

    My example is at

    Thanks in advance.

  • Your post “Rawvolution” is pasted from something like Word, and has some extraneous html tags in it that are changing the font size. Clean those out, and you should be fine.

For future reference, any text from Word should be saved as plain text first, then copy and pasted.

Else, look at using something like this plugin
    http://www.ndsinternet.com/blog/archives/2006/08/wordpress-plain-text-paste-plugin

The big font starts at the end of the last post before comments.
If you have a look at your source you will see there:

    <font size=”3″><font size=”5″ face=”Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif” color=”#ff3300″ /><font size=”5″ face=”Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif” color=”#ff3300″><font size=”5″ face=”Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif” color=”#ff3300″ /></font></font></p>
    <p><font size=”3″><font size=”5″ face=”Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif” color=”#ff3300″><font size=”3″><font size=”4″ face=”Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif”> </font></font> </font></font>

    many font tags without function?

    OK too late…

That worked like a charm…Thanks for the advice. I usually do use notepad before uploading text, but must have missed that post.

    Thanks again.
