Profile Pic and Like button not displaying

    I’ve been successfully using the IK Facebook plugin for about a year and a half. To be honest, it’s been awhile since I checked my website, and I noticed today that the Facebook feed is no longer displaying correctly. I’m assuming one of the updates either to Word Press or to my theme (Weaver II) changed how the feed displays. Whatever the culprit, there is no longer a Like button and my Facebook profile pic is not displaying. In fact, there’s nothing denoting that the feed is a Facebook feed. I have it setup in the Widgets area, and I noticed a new widget I hadn’t seen before, the IK Facebook Like Button. However, when I add it, I just get a big blank space where I’m assuming the Like button would normally be displaying. I have the IK Facebook Feed widget in a Per Page Area. I know HTML, but never learned any of the newer ways of coding a webpage, so I haven’t been messing around with any custom scripting for fear of breaking something. Any idea what’s wrong?

    Hey there!

    Can I see the site where the feed is?

    To confirm, the actual feed is displaying but the Title, Profile Pic, and Like button are not?

    Depending on where you were, feature wise, you may have some new settings to check that are responsible for these items being hidden. Check under the Display Options of our Settings and look for any relevant items to see what their status is.

    The website is http://asimovhumanists.org/. And yes, the profile pic and “Like” button are not displaying. I added in a title, but the end result is just a regular title on the page, nothing that looks like it’s from Facebook, like an icon or anything.

    I did look under Display Options, and “Show Like Button,” “Show Profile Pic” and “Show Page Title” are all checked.

    I appreciate any help you can offer!

    Maybe the widget was still cached after you made the changes?

    Ok, I just checked my site with IE, and you’re right, it does display correctly. I was using Google Chrome before, and that seems to be where the issue lies. I cleared cache in my Chrome browser and reloaded the page to be sure the issue didn’t lie there, but the Facebook feed is still not displaying correctly. I’m glad to know the issue isn’t on all web browsers, but any idea why Google Chrome is having the issue? I don’t have Mozilla Firefox to test to see if there is a problem viewing it with that browser.
