• I was curious how I could embed an omnioutliner file into a wordpress post. I can export the omnioutliner file as html, opml, and a bunch of text formats. Any ideas on how to do this?

    Thanks.

  • You’d want to export as HTML (actually, XHTML is preferred around her), but I think use of the basic text editor, rather than the ‘visual rich’ editor would work better.

How can I use the basic text editor, I know in firefox it goes directly into it.

By editor, Kaf was referring to the WordPress editor.

As a logged in admin, visit Users -> Your Profile. Scroll to the bottom of the page and uncheck the option to use the VRE thingy.

    Save.

Now, when you visit the Write screen, you won’t see the flashy WYSIWYG editor. BUT you’ll be able to paste in your omni generated HTML with a much larger chance of success.
