Slow loading front and back end

    Hi – I’m having slow loading problems with my site both front and back end. deadwhenigothere.org
    Is there something I should change or plug-in? I’m not tech savvy with websites so please explain in layman’s terms.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Thanks. I’ll try and deactivate the plug ins although I’m using Smush it to crush my still library right now. I don’t think it’s a theme issue as the theme worked fine before.
