I’m getting 404 when accessing the category sitemap.
It shows the URL in sitemap.xml but when u enter, 404.

Hi pablogeo, could you go to Settings > Permalinks (maybe resave the settings as they are) and test again?

Otherwise, please share a link to your sitemap…

Other users (some but not all) seem to need to visit the Permalinks page too but I cannot figure out why… Can you tell me how you installed / activated the XML Sitemap plugin?

Plugins -> Add New -> Search -> Install -> Activate
