booking website accommodation gallery by default

I have a word press site for booking, and when i add a new accommodation, by default, the gallery is a slideshow. Can this be changed into, let’s say a next gen kind of gallery, or any other kind of gallery, as the users can surf among the pictures? How is this possible?
