Can S2 Member Pro do this?

I just purchased S2 Member Pro, but now wondering if I made a mistake due to my own lack of research.
What I need: a site where user accounts are created, and then given access to a robust profile page. The profile pages are supposed to be viewable by the public, but only editable by the assigned user.
Currently my site is up, and I’m doing this with with custom post types and ACF – the profile pages are perfect, but lacking naturally, the user login/management part.
So…I purchased S2 thinking it might work, but now I’m realizing maybe not. I don’t want a social network, I just want users to have access to detailed profile pages where they can upload a couple images, enter several fields of content, etc.
Any advice on this would be appreciated. I don’t want to integrate BuddyPress if I don’t need to….just need profile pages. Thanks!
