Does it count with the default twentyforteen theme? If it does and just doesn’t count on your theme read http://wordpress.org/support/topic/ensure-your-theme-has-wp_head-and-wp_footer-2?replies=2
Also ensure you are not using any caching plugin.

I tried what the post is suggesting. Didn’t work. I indeed use WP Super Cache. Do I have to do something special besides desactivating it? Not even sure that’s what causing the problem.
But your plugging was working before and stopped like 2 weeks ago.
The views might still be counting just that the view count displayed is being cache. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution to it at the moment. I would recommend u not using the plugin if you are using a cache plugin.

Lester,
Just wanted to update you. I have desactivated NextGen Gallery that was obviously creating a conflict with your plugin. Everything works fine now.
The last version of NGG was making at least 3 plugins not working well.
It was definitely not a caching problem. Wich makes sense since your plugin was working perfectly fine a month ago.
I wonder why will NextGen Gallery cause PostViews to break since PostViews is such a simple plugin. Thanks for letting me know =)
