Final Payment on Partial Payment Invoice

    Ok I sent an Invoice for $1,000 which allowed a partial payment of $500 via PayPal. The partial payment was submitted, now how to I resend the invoice for the final payment of $500.

    When I tried to resend, the customer got the following message when they tried to pay:

    Your purchase couldn’t be completed
    Error Message

    This invoice has already been paid. For more information, please contact the merchant.
    Your purchase couldn’t be completed
    There’s a problem with the merchant’s PayPal account. Please try again later.

    You need to allow payments with the same IDs in your PayPal account. http://screencast.com/t/MFQiopaf1fL

    ok, just did that, then do I just resend the original invoice or do I need to create a new invoice for the balance? I don’t see anything in the interface that say’s process/send final invoice for remaining balance?

    Just resend the original invoice URL. People will see that they already paid part and will be able to pay the rest.
