well it gets posted like this on my blog. so the ul and li code appears (or whatever other html)without the <>

the above is if i am posting a list; if i dont do a list the broken p tags show up. like this:

so obviously somehow code is getting posted and it is stripping out the <>
How does the import happen. What’s the bridge between Chimp and WordPress?

No but when you say you’re importing from it, what does that?
I don’t know….I just hit the submit article button and it posts them to my blog. I already have my blogs username and password stored in the chimp rewriter software.
honestly i think it is something with my wordpress account though. the chimp rewriter tech support said he had never seen this happening before.
do you have any sort of import software? my blog is currently set to allow anyone to register and post if that will help you…perhaps you could test it out with any type of import software you have.
If you can post normally to WordPress and the problem only arises when you use Chimp Rewriter, I think it’s safe to assume it’s Chimp that’s the cause of the problem, despite what the tech support says.
no im not even quite sure i can post normally to WP…hang on, let me try doing an ordered list there.
ok the ordered list shows up okay when i put it directly from WP.
but i still dont think it is chimp rewriter. i had this problem with another program as well.
