WordPress editor stripping out ALL html

    It’s now 3.8.1 and STILL I’m having issues with the editor within wordpress. If it’s not deleting HTML comments on one install, it’s stripping all HTML I place within the editor on other.

    Anyone has this issue before or have some suggestions on how to get this ability back?

    I’ve deactivated all plugins and it still occurs, I’ve even changed to the default themes and it still fails. It seems that there is a corruption in the DB? If so, anyone know where these settings for the editor would exist, if it did?

    A) We cannot troubleshoot a site we do not have a link to.
    B) Since we cannot log in to site, we cannot replicate error.
