Issue resolved (after a bit of tinkering).
I had the ‘days of forecast’ value set at ‘don’t show’. I set it for ‘1 day’ and, voila, the full background image appeared.

Widget still will not show full background image when ‘don’t show’ value is selected for “days of forecast.”
Temporarily showed full image when I selected “1 days’ (with no forecast showing), but forecast appeared when I checked after 12am.
“Don’t show” works with “tall” version, but I prefer “wide.”
Please advise.

@omel360 It seems you made some modifications to the widget since you posted this. Are you still having issues or did you make it work out for you?
Having same issue as omel360. Widget will not show full background image when ‘don’t show’ value is selected for “days of forecast” in wide format. I’m hoping there’s a fix. Yes?
