    No idea, that actually looks like it might be a misconfiguration on your site. e.g. a redirect that is entering a loop.

    I have noticed the same thing logged in Wordfence when using it in conjunction with the “Rename wp-login.php” plugin.

    Anyone who attempts to access wp-login.php gets redirected to the invalid /-/-/-/-/-/-/-/ URL.

    Based on this thread in the support forum for Rename wp-login.php I believe this can be stopped by blocking access to wp-login.php through .htaccess but I haven’t tried it myself yet.

    thanks, very helpful – I am using the rename wp-login plugin.

    I’ll study that thread and decide which approach to take.

    So far the incidence of people trying the logon link is not very high, but I’d still like to find the most efficient solution.
