Hello! We use WordPress to manage our bi-weekly newsletter and posts. The site address is takingstock.asas.org/. It was working last night (3/12) around 10 pm central time. This morning (3/13) starting around 5:30 am central time we cannot get the site to load. I am on a Mac computer (no issues in the past) and have tried to load the page using both Firefox and Safari. Nothing will load.

We have a second site: http://blog.asas.org/GraduateBulletin/ and it is not loading either. I have double checked the main http://www.asas.org site and all pages/functions seem to be working from there.

Any help getting this back up and running would be greatly appreciated.
    Jennifer

It looks like the hoster had the wordpress.com connection mistimed. Are you the hoster?

I am sorry I am not sure what you mean by hoster? This blog site was setup for our company by an employee that left about 6 months ago and we have just been posting new information to the site. I have not changed any settings from the original setup.

How to I get the issue fixed? I cannot load the page at all, even to login as the administrator.

it is a problem with the connection, meaning that whoever is hosting the website has stopped

So if we have not made any changes to the admin side of the WordPress site nor to our hosted website in the last 12-24 hours, how did the connection get mistimed? We host our own site and no one has made any changes to any settings. The WordPress site was working fine as little as 12 hours ago.
I am just trying to understand how all of this works as I am very new to running a blog using WordPress.

There are a few possiblities. One is that the host has ran out. One is that there is an update running on either wordpress or your host that causes connection errors. The only thing to do is to contact your hosting provider as each host acts differently and I only am familiar with GoDaddy which is what I use.
