• Hello,

I recently installed the WPtouch mobile plugin to my site http://www.lipbusiness.com. The plugin worked perfectly at first, but started to effect my site. I started to get http 500 error messages at random times when trying to visit my site on desktop and on mobile. And whenever I was in my wordpress administration page, after a short time, it would time out and shut my site down. After contacting my host, they told me that a “premajor end of script headers” was displayed in my error logs. So I deactivated the Wptouch mobile plugin and hadn’t had the problem since. I really want to place the plugin back on my site, but am afraid that this problem will happen again. Any suggestions?

  • It sounds as if there may be a Javascript conflict affecting your WordPress configuration. To test for this, deactivate all plugins except WPtouch from within the WordPress Plugins area, clear your browser cache and local data then test for the issue.

If WPtouch functions well, you may then enable the rest of your plugins one at a time, repeating the process, until you can identify which is/are causing the problem.

You may choose to replace the conflicting plugin with another or upgrade to WPtouch Pro which has a feature that will allow you to disable the conflicting plugin within your mobile theme but leave your desktop theme intact.
