That’s not good. Not sure what to advise at the moment. Is the date picker working properly?
Does it do the same for start and end dates?
If you can send me an email via http://quick-plugins.com I will send you the update I’ve been working on. The bit that calculates the date hasn’t changed but there might be some other trigger causing the problem
Hello and thank you so much for your message!
The date picker works fine (it does allow you to choose the right date) but when i press the “publish” button in order to publish the event, the date that appears in the “Date” is always Jan 1 1970.
I just sent an email to quick-plugins.com ! Please respond 🙂
Thanks so much
George

George isn’t using the plugin so I can’t see or fix the problem. nobody else seems to have this issue so a bit stumped as to what to do.
Closing the thread
Please don’t close it.. you were not responding till now and this is why i tried another plugin.. just activated it again.. what should i do now?
and here is the example with the wrong date: http://www.enjoy.gr/event/test1231/
George,
I can’t replicate the problem so can’t offer a solution. I sent you an email with a number of suggestions. Essentially you need to deactivate all the other plugins and change to the 2014 theme. This will identify there is a conflict.
I didn’t receive any mail. Did you send it at comfis@gmail.com ?
My theme is updated with the latest version. Is there something else i should do before i try deactivating all the other plugins?
Thanks again
George
I want to change the function of quick event manager to manage news items. I want to use the event start date as the date the news is posted which is always less than current so it does not show up using the shortcode [qem]. How do I change this in the php file?
Go to Setting > Event Manager > Event Display
Then check the box that says ‘Show past events in the events list’.
Save the settings and all your events will display.
