I upgraded to 1.5.3, but now I can’t save a mail setup or modify or save a form.

    For mail setup:
I get the add mail dialog, but when I added a mail item (Send emails via SMTP; Use SSL encryption (Recommended); Use SMTP authentication) and clicked “Save Mail”, I got a green-topped box that said “Success/Add mail successful” that didn’t have a way to close itself. When I clicked outside that box, the Mail Setup screen went back to having “No item available”.

For forms, I can’t select a form element, and so can’t change any of the field properties. Also, after I press the save button, nothing shows up in the “Manage Forms” dialog.

    Thanks

If you are using SMTP with SSL encryption you need to input your email host, port, username and password to make it work. I checked and tested the add email and form from several servers and its working fine. Can you give me access to your WordPress website so i can check what the real issue? Also make sure you are using the recommended WordPress version which is version 3.6 and above. Below is my email address.

I’ve been able to get it to work with unencrypted (but authenticated) SMTP out port 25, which will do, at least for now.

Thanks again for all your help, and thanks for releasing GuiForm under GPL.
