Zotpress not importing tags

    Hi
    Thanks, Katie for a very useful plugin. I have a small problem however that might be due to my ignorance as a new user – I can import all the items without any difficulty, but it then stalls at the 1-50 stage of tag imports and won’t go any further. The rest of the references seem to come across, and the shortcodes seem to work OK, but no tags show up. I have about 350 tags in Zotero, there are no commas and I have deleted any odd characters such as -_ / and & that might be causing the problem but to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks Katie – it may be something that’s unique to my data set as no-one else seems to have encountered it. It is odd that it always stalls at the 51st tag. I can work around the problem without too much difficulty and the rest of the program is still very useful

    Thanks for all the effort you’ve made in trying to solve this problem so far. If you do come up with a solution it would be great !

    After troubleshooting with Mike, I think it might have to do with how many citations each tag is linked to and how Zotpress processes those relationships given how Zotero provides the link through the API. I’ve added this to my tracker.

    I am having the same issue. I have a very large Zotero library. I was hosting one bibliography on my website and now the tags won’t reimport. Any updates on fixing this?

    I’ve restructured the way importing works, so this issue should be resolved. Please re-open the thread if otherwise.
