Images and thumbnails load randomly

    Hello,

    I have an image heavy blog, but have begun having issues with image loading shortly after upgrading to wordpress 3.8.1. Before the upgrade things all loaded fine, but now what will happen is only SOME images will load and others will be broken, and I will have to click refresh. Then other images will load, but some images that loaded before the refresh will nw be broken. In all I have to click refresh about 10 times before I can get my page completely loaded. I’ve checked my other websites on the same domain but are not hosted by wordpress and they load fine. I’ve included some screenshots below:

    http://cathywu.com/pr/k01.jpg – Here, two thumbnails dont load. Refresh.
    http://cathywu.com/pr/k02.jpg – Now four don’t load. Refresh.
    http://cathywu.com/pr/k03.jpg – Now three don’t load, plus the header. Refresh.
    http://cathywu.com/pr/k04.jpg – Actual blog post, and first 2 images don’t load. Refresh.
    http://cathywu.com/pr/k05.jpg – Other images load, but again, some are still broken so I still click.
    http://cathywu.com/pr/k06.jpg – My other wordpress site (it is a multisite) which is also having this image loading issue.

    The thing is, it is completely random each time as to what will load and what will not load. If anybody has any tips or solutions, I would appreciate it. Even if it is a problem with my server or internet connection, I’d like to know. I’m just not sure where the problem is so I can get it fixed.

    Try checking your site’s error logs for messages. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.

    Etc. I know I have lots of images, but they’ve all been compressed and resized so I don’t think that is the issue?
