    Hi,

When I use lightbox, I add a “title” to the image link which gives me a nice caption below the picture when lightbox opens up.

I have a problem, however – I would like some of the text in the caption to be linked.

Is this possible somehow? Specifically I display the image’s license info there (e.g. “CC-BY-SA 2.0”) but according to the Creative Commons license, I must also provide a link to the license. So if it’s possible to muck about in the source files to replace any mention of CC-BY-SA, CC-BY etc. with a linked option, that would work (because I only have a limited amount of words that need to be linked), if nothing else.

    Thanks for a great plug-in!

Hi, the description in the lightbox supports HTML such as links. By adding the desired HTML to Description field for the item in your site’s media library, SLB will be able to display it in the lightbox.

Thank you for the response! It’s however rather cumbersome to add the license information by hand for each image rather than adding it in php. Is there any other way to make it display html in the lightbox?

Not currently, though new action/filter hooks are being added in future updates that may allow this.
