WordPress is a blog?? well, I’m glad you’ve set me straight on that issue.
If you read the documentation at
http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Image_and_File_Attachments
it appears that WordPress ALSO does file/attachment uploads.
Not exactly document management, but it might work with a little code customization.
if you were able to locate that, then why ask?
obviously it can handle uploads.. theres prolly a mere 4000 posts on here regarding uploads.
When providing an answer such as “wordpress is a blog” Im trying to point out that its NOT a CMS. In other words there are better tools .. and they fall under the heading of “groupware”.
If you really want to use wp than read the documentation, browse the available plugins, use your imagination and your brain.
No, not in the proper sense. While you can setup multiple users, who can in turn upload their own files, there’s no version control for starters.
What about a wiki solution? Have you given that any thought?
