Slider in Leaf theme not visible

Can anyone suggest why the image slider at the top of the home page in the Leaf theme would entirely disappear upon updating the theme? The website is directavia.com and everything seems to work correctly on the site with the exception of the loss of the slider (which worked fine before the update).
