Need help with category search widget

Hi-

I am having issues with finding the correct category search widget for my needs. What I am looking for is a widget that allows for multiple category search. The ability to select any category and subcategory and if any posts match that combination (combined with an AND statement not an OR) those posts will appear on the main page. I have downloaded the faceted search category widget but it doesn’t look all that great on my site and it is hard to use… also the new categories don’t update and therefore it has become worthless. Is there something out there either free or paid that I can download that will fit my needs?
