Sorry for the delay. We are looking into it.
Hi,
I’m checking in on this issue. We are having the same problem at http://www.greenbelt.org/ with similar parameters.
Our box is enabled on the front page and posts with a 60 day limit.
Thanks for looking into it.
Hello. Same problem. i Close the pop-up and after a refresh is up again.
Any updates?
We have released a major upgrade, that should fix most of the problems. Please try the new 2.x version.
I have the same problem with 2.0.3 version.
Hi
Can you give me a link so I could check?
Scroll box will be hidden for the defined period only after one of following has happened: 1) form submission or 2) closing box from the “x” in the top right corner. Just visiting the page and seeing the scrollbox is not enough. The purpose of scrollbox is to invite the users to interact with site, and till this has not happened, it will keep appearing.
You can add to the scrollbox text like “if you dont want to see this box again, just close it from “x”.”
Next plugin version will add option to close box forever for those who have filled the form. (Those who have closed from “x”, the usual hiding period will apply.)
Good day! I’d like to thank you for this plugin first of all!
Plugin version 2.1.1
I wanted to send some feedback on what I’m seeing. When I am not logged in, I enter my email address and submit, I still see the pop-up when I go to the site. It seems it’s not registering that I’ve already signed up. But, if I close out of the pop-up, it doesn’t show again (as it should). Eero, you mention above that it should hide itself if a form submission has taken place but that’s the part for me, that isn’t happening.
Just wanted to let you know what I’m seeing on my end.
Thanks again for creating a great plugin!
Actually I just now noticed something, it looks like the “popup frequency” is no longer an option within the 2.1.1 version.
Update:
Nevermind, I was starting RIGHT at it. ;0|
kshapiro, can you give link to your site so I could look?
If you use some 3rd party submission form provider then please note that currently options in “Actions after form submission” and “Auto close” section will work only with plugin own submission form and when “Actions after form submission”->”Send submitted values to email” is filled.
That’s probably what it is then. We are using an embedded form from Campaign Monitor so those submissions go directly into the subscribers list. So, there really isn’t anyway to have that form pop-up hidden after submission because we are using a 3rd party plugin.
Thanks again for your quick response and help!
