Where to go from here…

Hi Everyone,
So I need your help, for getting this website blog up and going. It is up and running now and thanks to some help before I was able to center my site title and tag with the theme I am currently using from my host site, Site Ground. However, I stumbled upon some other blogs and I have found myself at a stuck point. I have looked at how their blogs compare to mine and there really isn’t a comparison. There blogs are so much more professional and better looking than mine, and there is an ease of use that I would like to have as well. Now that has me trying to find a professional theme that can match up to theirs or at least try. Ha ha. My blog is all about life and my personal views and opinions about the world as I see it and I am also going to write about my personal struggles and demons in hopes to help someone out there who may have the same struggle or the same feelings as I once did or do have and maybe offer some encouragement. If that makes sense? Then after the theme is taken care of I am lost as to what plugins I should really get or where to go from there other than just to start writing. I am also wondering about copyrighting. I have a hard time explaining this part to people but will do my best so please bare with me. I am wondering what I should think about as far as what to copyright, if anything. Also If I have a link or a lyric that I want to incorporate into my blog post, if or when I would need to ask for permission? Thank you for trying to understand and baring with me as you, I’m sure, were scratching your heads, the entire time while trying to read this lol! Thank you for your time!
