I’ve tried using the Custom Sidebar plugin, and I was able to create a sidebar for the About page — but the rest of the pages are displaying the default, and when I create another custom sidebar, everything goes weird; my footer sidebar suddenly tries to appear in my sidebar and it’s a mess.

Can anyone help me get to the awesome place where I can successfully have multiple custom sidebars?

    Thanks!

  • Try “display widgets”.

…you know that moment when the answer to your question is so ridiculously simple that you feel really, really kind of silly?

Yeahhhhh. 🙂 Thank you so much.

Wonder if you know…would this affect SEO at all because elements are being hidden?

Elements you hide aren’t generated in the source code at all, so search engines won’t see anyhthing. Any change in page content has some sort of effect on seo but I guess it depends what it is you’re not showing.
