Plugin not accepting domain emails

Hello:
We are using this plugin and it is working for the most part, with one glaring exception: it will not accept emails from domains other than major commercial email hosts (yahoo, facebook, gmail, etc.).
For example, my email is leha@webpeoplemedia.com, but the plugin gives me the error:
“Please enter a valid email address.”
This is a valid email address, and Constant Contact itself will accept the email address (I can enter it on their site manually), but the plugin does not accept it.
Many people use their own domains for email, so this is an error.
Is there any kind of fix or workaround for this?
