This would not be an easy task as most of the elements have a fixed width.
The theme also uses images as backgrounds for certain elements and would need to be altered to fit the new width.
The theme also has not been updated in more than 3 years, may be compatibility issues.
Ah, This theme is exactly what i have been looking for and i have spent a while editing the header image.
A-do you know of any similar themes?
B-is is possible to centre the content box?

It may not seem like it but it would be very easy to make this theme look like you want. And the author is great at building and supporting themes.
Give me a few hours to whip up a screenshot on my local system.

The only thing I have changed is the stylesheet. I will post what I have done so far in pastebin.
Which of the 2 will you be using, a child-theme or custom css plugin.

Child-theme is better IMO.
here’s the link to a stylesheet already setup for a child-theme.
Just create a folder named pachyderm-child in your themes folder, then copy paste this into a style.css.

Any ideas why the menu and the other bits are not quite right?
After doing more research on my local system it appears using a child-theme breaks the menu styling and functionality on this theme.
Ahh i see. Is there any way i can get it to work ?
Should i copy and paste your style.css into the main themes folder?
