Can you please clarify it for us a bit more.
As for the the other two suggestion, they are great and we will probably include them in our next update.

An example:
The home page has these links: products, service, about us, contact.
The products and service menu items both have subpages.
Products – gift items, books, glass
Service – service subpage 1, subpage 2.
On the home page, about us and contact I just want the parent pages to show without the subpages for Products and Service. But clicking on Products or Service I would like the subpages for Products or Service the subpages belonging to the parent menu item to show.
This means hiding subpages when the parent page is not selected.

In addition, Widget is working. So you can use built-in “Custom Menu” widget and it will use same rules as regular menu.
A few more ideas for consideration.
Close parent and subpages for better overview of menu. Drag the parent and subpages. Similar to this plugin:

I have used the plugin on a client site that has a lot of subpages, as the menu list can get pretty long if the site has 10-20 pages. It would be nice with a simple close the specific tree branch and move it.

Noup, we develop it on our own private server but Github could be good solution in the future for sure, thanks for bringing that to our attention!
