This is because of the ‘focus’ being moved to the input field on pageload. I will make this optional in the next release. You can manually disable it by commenting lines 88 and 191 in the wpsl-gmap.js.

I’m still having the same issues. I noticed that the plugin was updated and there is actually nothing on lines 88 & 191 to comment out now. So it appears you updated it before I ever tried to do anything. That being said, we are still experiencing the same issues.
In the latest version if you go to settings -> design settings, then make sure ‘On pageload move the mousecursor to the input field’ is unchecked. Does that fix it?

Perfect! Thank you for your help and implementing that into the plugin.
I have the same issue in IE 8. It still shows the list half way down, even if I uncheck ‘On Pageload move…….’.
