Why don’t your edits in your Child Theme style.css file work?
thanks but I need to change the codes to that file (layout.css) 🙂

I would like to delete -> “Analytical By SketchThemes”

Isn’t that in a PHP file?

In your browser, at the top you should see the “URL” (the address) to your website. Copy all of and paste it into a new post in this thread.

That is correct, but you’re working locally so we won’t be able to see your website.
Can you link to a page on the theme’s demo site that has the same “Analytical By SketchThemes” text?
I’m sorry, I don’t know that 🙂
I removed this part of the code from my child theme: <span class=”powered-by”>Analytical Lite By SketchThemes</span>
(footer.php)

is there a way to work on the file layount.css from my child theme?
I also would like to modify the background color menu
thank you 🙂

It’s still not clear why you need to edit the layout.css file instead of the style.css file from within your child theme.
