It sounds like you just want to use “Categories” which is built-in with standard WordPress.
Make 1 category called “My Blog” and one called “Weight Loss Updates.” Easy! WP automatically creates a webpage showing only the posts from each cat.

You don’t read… (at least not carefully:)
WP does that out of the box. You don’t need to do anything.
Just create the category/categories you want – and by clicking on the category name(s) it will show only posts from that category.
