Change frequency not as configured

    Hey, I have got the same problem. How to delete these ?

    <changefreq>weekly</changefreq>
    <priority>0.8</priority>

    The default change frequency is used only when a change frequency can not be deduced from a post/page. If your posts/pages are updated hourly/daily (according to post_modified_date) then the change frequency shown up is actually correct.

    Change frequency and priority should not be removed. Are your posts/pages not updated weekly but change frequency is shown as weekly?

    Yes. There are some pages that won´t ever be changed. And some post are also not being changed weekly but erratic. So how do I have to handle the frequency in these cases best?
