Can't add text to pages

    Hi,

    I downloaded wordpress Version 3.8.1 yesterday. Installed it on wamp server on windows 8 machine.

    I was able to install it properly.

    I tried adding a new page through admin panel. It allows me to add title but it doesn’t allow me to add content in the editor below – both in visual and text editors.

    I have not added any extra themes or plugins. Its untouched. Theme is default theme. Tried in different browsers too.

    Please help.

    Found solution!!!

    In troubleshooting:
    check system requirement, php version, mysql version, apache modules.

    The one I din’t have enabled was mod-rewrite.
