The visual editor was working last night, now it’s not — nothing I’ve tried so far will make it work:

    – re-installed wp 3.8.1
    – disabled all plugins
    – used both Chrome & Mozilla
    – Themes 2013 & 2014

    In Firefox:
14:57:17.988 ReferenceError: tinyMCE is not defined wp-langs-en.js:1
14:57:18.100 Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead. load-scripts.php:4
14:57:21.171 ReferenceError: tinymce is not defined

    In Chrome:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://inetlegalforms.com/newsite/wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php?c=1&ver=359-20131026

Uncaught ReferenceError: tinyMCE is not defined wp-langs-en.js:1
event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.

Uncaught ReferenceError: tinymce is not defined load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=hoverIntent,common,admin-bar,schedule,wp-ajax-response,autosave,sug…:650

Uncaught ReferenceError: tinymce is not defined
